Joe is a cross-disciplinary Geotechnical Engineer and Project Engineer with a practical, site-informed approach to design and construction. Drawing on early hands-on experience in precast concrete construction and a career spanning geotechnical investigation, construction materials testing, and project engineering, Joe delivers geotechnical solutions that are both technically sound and feasible in practice.
Joe’s technical strengths lie in site investigation, pavement investigation and design, foundation inspections, and construction-phase recommendations across residential, commercial, and public infrastructure projects. His project experience extends across the private sector, local government, and renewable energy, with particular expertise in bulk earthworks, stormwater design, pavement works, and slope stabilisation.
He has held increasing levels of responsibility throughout his career—from Concrete Precast Labourer to Trainee Geotechnician, Senior Geotechnical Engineer, and Project Engineer—giving him a well-rounded understanding of both fieldwork and project delivery.
Notable projects include slope stabilisation works at Jenolan Caves (NSW) and Cunningham Gap (QLD), where Joe has contributed to contractor coordination, budget and production tracking, QA, and compliance with safety, environmental, and design specifications.
His strength lies in combining technical knowledge with construction insight, ensuring engineering outcomes that stand up to both scrutiny and site conditions.
